We can only do so much, having sent them a detailed report stating exactly what Avast is doing to our software, along with an error log created inside Avast & one from HitFilm itself, there isn't much more we can do. I'm be really surprised if there's not a workaround you can do. no HitFilm, and wait until you can fix this. MS Security Essentials is well known to be NOT as good as just about any other anti-virus, so you might want to be very careful recommending that people "downgrade" to that. Please guys kick them into gear, I have looked at lots of other anti-virus software and really really don't want to dump avast.
